EBPI entered into an agreement to support, market, and distribute the MicroBioTests line of products for the United States and Canadian Markets. 

The MicroBioTests line of Toxkit products are regularly used for the purposes of toxicity screening and toxicity testing of a range of environmental samples and effluents.

Examples of the Toxkit line of products are as follows.

Tests for freshwater and terrestrial environments

• ALGALTOXKIT F (Product No. TK41)
  72h growth inhibition test, based on the green alga Selenastrum capricornutum (renamed Raphidocelis subcapitata and more recently Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata).
  This algae toxicity test adheres to OECD and ISO Guidelines.

• DAPHTOXKIT F magna (Product No. TK33) 24-48h acute toxicity test, based on the cladoceran crustacean Daphnia magna.  This daphnia toxicity test adheres to OECD and ISO Guidelines. 

• CERIODAPHTOXKIT F (Product No. TK35) is a 24h acute toxicity test, based on the cladoceran crustacean Ceriodaphnia dubia.This Ceriodaphia toxicity tests adheres to the USEPA Test Guideline.
  

• THAMNOTOXKIT F (Product No. TK31) is a 24h acute toxicity test with the anostracan crustacean Thamnocephalus platyurus.  This acute toxicity test is endorsed or considered for incorporation in toxicity testing Guidelines by several countries. 
  

• OSTRACODTOXKIT F (Product No. TK36) is a 6 days chronic (mortality/growth inhibition) toxicity test with the ostracod Heterocypris incongruens.  The Ostracodtoxkit is a direct contact toxicity test for contaminated sediments or soils.
  

• ROTOXKIT F (Product No. TK21) is a 24h acute toxicity test based on the rotifer Brachionus calyciflorus.  This rotifer toxicity test adheres to ASTM Standard Guide E1440-91.
  

• ROTOXKIT F short-chronic (Product No. TK23) is a 48h short-chronic (reproduction) test based on the rotifer Brachionus calyciflorus.  This rotifer toxicity test adheres to the French AFNOR Standard Guide.
  

• PROTOXKIT F (Product No. TK11) is a 24h chronic (growth inhibition) toxicity test based on the ciliate protozoan Tetrahymena thermophila.  A test Guideline for a Tetrahymena bioassay is under priority development in OECD.
  

• RAPIDTOXKIT (Product No. TK37) is a rapid 1 hour toxicity test with larvae of the anostracan crustacean Thamnocephalus platyurus for rapid detection of water contamination.
  

• PHYTOTOXKIT (Product No. TK61) is a 72h seed germination and early growth phytotoxicity test with 3 higher plants (one monocotyl and two dicotyls). 

• PHYTOTESTKIT (Product No. TK62) is a 3 days toxicity test for testing of the direct (intrinsic) effects of chemicals on the germination and early growth of plants.
  

Tests for estuarine/marine environments

• MARINE ALGALTOXKIT (Product No. TK42) is a 72h growht inhibition test based on the marine diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum.  This marine growth inhibition test adheres to ISO Guideline for marine algal growth inhibition.
  

• ARTOXKIT M (Product No. TK32) is a 24-48h acute toxicity test based on the anostracan crustacean Artemia franciscana (formerly Artemia salina).
  

• ROTOXKIT M (Product No. TK22)24-48h acute toxicity test based on the rotifer Brachionus plicatilis.  This rotifer toxicity test adheres to ASTM Standard Guide E1440-91.
